I’ve spent more than 30 years in journalism — and I’m still not done figuring it out.
As Executive Producer of Digital and Social Media at WABC-TV in New York City, I’ve helped turn Eyewitness News into the most-followed local television brand in the market. As part of the Walt Disney Television family, I’ve launched streaming products, led teams through the kind of constant disruption that now defines this industry, and spent a lot of time thinking about where AI fits into the future of the newsroom. I got an MBA along the way from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and more recently earned a certificate in AI and Business Strategy from Johns Hopkins — because I believe the journalists and leaders who understand this technology will be the ones who shape what comes next.
This blog is where I think out loud about all of it — the future of media, the promise and peril of AI in the newsroom, leadership lessons learned the hard way, and whatever else is rattling around in my head. I also write about cycling, health, and life, because not everything has to be about work.
On that note: I’m a prostate cancer survivor. I wrote about it here because I think men need to hear it more often — get the PSA test.
If something here resonates, I’d love to hear from you.
